OVERVIEW

Kairen Engineering has the expertise to thermally and mechanically design and fabricate shell and tube heat exchangers as per the customer-supplied process data and mechanical and metallurgical requirements for the refining, petrochemical, and gas processing industries. We offer design and fabrication of heat exchangers in accordance with ASME & TEMA Standards.

Our streamlined design process for the heat exchangers relies on a combination of advanced modeling and analysis software, and hundreds of man-years of experience. With extensive design and manufacturing capabilities, exchangers and products transition smoothly from design, through prototyping to production.

SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER

Shell and Tube design is one of the most common types of exchangers used in heat transfer.

DESIGN CAPABILITY

  • Kairen Engineering provides new designs with full thermal design or can check the customer-provided designs and fabricate as per industrial requirements.
  • We provide a complete solution in the design and fabrication of shell and tube-type heat exchangers.
  • Designs are made using licensed software from HTRI for thermal design sizing and PV-elite for mechanical strength calculation.
  • Our design consultant utilizes HTRI thermal and vibration software for rating/sizing of heat exchangers as well as RCS and AUTOCAD design software.

FABRICATION

  • Our manufacturing facility is capable of fabricating either on a routine or on an emergency basis, shell and tube heat exchangers, replacement of tube bundles, shells, shell covers, floating heads, covers, gaskets, etc.
  • Tubular Exchangers Manufacturers Association (TEMA) sized exchangers made from carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and any other materials as required by customers.

TESTING

Whether testing to low or high pressures, we can comply with customer’s hydro test requirements by deploying appropriate test equipment.

REPAIR

  • With our world-class engineering, design, machining, and welding technology, we can repair or replace any heat exchanger component.
  • All types of materials, we can machine it, build it, weld it, repair it or replace it.
